Let's discuss issues related to Nanny Cams. Following are the top two issues Clearview Security discusses with its clients regarding Hidden Cameras & Nanny Cams. Whether it is to monitor a nanny, babysitter, someone taking care of an elderly parent or the maid / cleaning service we understand that most of you have two basic issues regarding Hidden Cameras and Nanny Cams.

Issue #1 is related to the product: meaning what is available, how does it work, do I have to have it installed, can it be internet accessible and what happens if I move?

Issue #2 is "should we get a nanny cam?" I'm sure one of you wants it "just to check" and the other is either ambivalent about it or out right against it.

Let me address this issue first. The answer is a resounding, yes!!!! It is not a moral or legal issue. It is an issue pertaining to the safety, security and well being of your child or family member. Think about it. It's a win, win situation. If you are happy with what you capture on your nanny cam then you can be comfortable your loved one is being taken care of and all is well. If there is an issue with what you have recorded you can take appropriate action to rectify the situation and put a stop to a potentially dangerous situation.

Issue #1: There are a host of choices on the market today regarding nanny cams or hidden cameras. As with most technology our new line of nanny cams have gotten smaller, higher quality and more affordable. Our SleuthGear cameras contain a hidden camera that is totally covert with a built-in DVR (Digital Video Recorder) that will record for hours based on the size of the size of the SD card you choose. These SD cards are the same type of cards used in most digital cameras to record your pictures or video. Additionally the default setting on our nanny cams is for "motion activation" the camera will always be on however will not record until it detects motion or activity within its FOV (field of view). This way you do not waste SD card recording capacity and upon review you only get video of what happened not hours of an empty space or room. Regardless of the item / style you choose any of our nanny cam hidden cameras function as normal household items such as clocks, air purifiers, DVD players etc.
